Injections products

There are a number of risks as with any procedure, but these are limited. Even if very few patients experience complications, take advice from your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications.

Discuss with your doctor your specific options, needs and expectations, in order to understand the risks, possible complications and the limitations and results related to hyaluronic acid injections.

  • Bleeding and bruising, although very rare, may follow the injection of Hyaluronic Acid or local anesthetic, especially in the soft tissue. Following larger post-injection bleeding, emergency treatment or surgery may be necessary.
  • Aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, platelet aggregation inhibitors, blood thinners, vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, as well as other homeopathic or herbal treatments may increase the risk of bleeding. It is mandatory for you to tell your doctor about any medication or supplement that you are taking during your appointment.

We were able to note in a rare way the appearance:

  • Edema and Erythema: swelling and / or redness of the skin, syringe marks and rashes resembling acne can occur following the injection of dermal fillers, and disappear within a few days.
  • Subcutaneous bumps may appear after the injection of dermal fillers and diminish over time. It is sometimes possible to feel the presence of the filling under the fingers for long periods of time.
  • Visibility of the dermal filler: it is possible to see any product injected in areas where the skin is thin.
  • Asymmetry: our face is naturally asymmetrical, with its own anatomy and structural functions. The response to dermal filling injections being different depending on the person, additional injections may be offered in order to achieve the desired results.
  • Pain: discomfort is normal after injections for a few days.

What are the rare side effects associated with injections these products?

  • Infection: extremely rarely, a bacterial, fungal or viral infection can develop. The reactivation of herpes simplex (around the mouth) can occur following a dermal filling treatment. This can also occur in patients with no history related to this virus. Specific drugs can be prescribed and integrated into the treatment, as well as after, in order to fight against a possible infection linked to this virus. Additional treatments, including antibiotic therapy, may be necessary in the event of skin infection.
  • Damage to deep structures: temporary or permanent injury to nerves, blood vessels and soft tissue may occur during the injection.
  • Loss of vision by arterial embolization.
  • Skin necrosis: extremely rare, the death of the skin and soft tissues can cause unacceptable scarring phenomenon. Additional treatments and surgeries may be made mandatory if this complication occurs.
  • Granulomas: the formation of painful masses under the skin and in the deep tissues following an injection is very rare. Additional treatments and surgeries may be made mandatory if this complication occurs.
  • Migration: there is a risk of migration of dermal fillers, after treatment. This complication can prove to be irreversible.

Are there any unknown risks associated with the use of these products?

  • Combination treatments: in some cases, Botox injections, and / or other dermal fillers may be used to increase the results. The effect of other external skin treatments (Fraxel, microdermabrasion, chemical peel) on skin treated with dermal fillers is unknown.
  • Drug interaction: the reaction between dermal filling and other drugs is unknown.
  • Long-term effect: injections of dermal fillers are not considered to be a permanent treatment for wrinkles and depressions in soft tissues. Little by little, the product is absorbed by the body and the effects fade and then disappear. Continuous injections are needed to maintain the long-term effect.

There are other procedures to improve skin wrinkles, depressions in the soft tissue, skin elevation and pigmentation. The risks and potential complications are linked to alternative methods of medical and surgical treatment. These procedures are offered according to the expectations and needs of each patient and the risks associated with these procedures.

NB: changes in the appearance of the face and eyelids can result from natural aging, weight loss or gain, unprotected UV exposure, pregnancy, menopause, or other circumstances that are not associated with the Hyaluronic Acid injection procedures. These products do not stop skin aging, do not permanently tighten the skin, and do not affect the appearance of wrinkles.it is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in the event of:Previous allergic reaction to injectable hyaluronic products or to calcium hydroxyapatite.History of severe allergic reactions or several known severe allergies.Abnormal raised scars or keloidsActive inflammation or infection of the treatment areaPregnancy and breast feeding

Hyalasis

We have no scientific data on the exact amount of hyaluronidase to use. In view of this, there is a risk of using too much hyaluronic acid-based filler. Hyaluronidase could cause the dissolution of intradermal hyaluronic acid, causing a temporary loss of skin volume.

There is also potential bleeding in the injection area due to the use of needles. We can see punctually and unsustainably:

  • Erythema (redness)
  • Inflammation
  • A feeling of discomfort

We can see in a rare way:

  • an allergic reaction to the product (anaphylaxis)

The risks and potential complications are related to alternative methods of medical and surgical treatment.

These processes are proposed according to the expectations and needs of each patient and the risks related to these procedures. It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in case of:

  • Hypersensitivity to hyaluronidase
  • Pregnancy and breast feeding

Hyalase should not be performed on an area that has been treated with botulinum toxin in the previous 48 hours as this may induce migration of the product.

Cryolipolysis

there are few side effects related to cryolipolysis. Temporary sensations may occur as a result of treatment such as redness, numbness, increased sensitivity, tingling, slight bruising and inflammation. These symptoms usually last from a few hours to a few days. We can nonetheless appear in a rare and punctual way:

  • Diarrhea and muscle spasms
  • Frostbite
  • Appearance of hernia
  • Anesthesia persisting for more than a month
  • Panniculitis
  • Subcutaneous induration
  • Persistent pains
  • Hyperpigmentation, hyperplasy paradoxale

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in case of:

  • Pregnancy
  • Active inflammation or infection of the area to be treated
  • Fragility of the skin
  • Hernia

Morpheus8

The side effects are much lower than with other radiofrequency treatments, thanks to a modulated action between the dermis and the connective tissue.

There are a number of risks as after any procedure, but these are limited. Although very few patients experience complications, consult your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications.

Discuss specific options, needs, and expectations with your doctor to understand the risks, possible complications, and limitations and results of MORPHEUS8.

In immediate post-treatment, the skin may show redness (erythema) and slight swelling (edema), which disappear within 24 or 48 hours.

Aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, antiplatelet drugs, blood thinners, vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, and other homeopathic or herbal treatments may increase the risk of bleeding. It is mandatory for you to tell your doctor about any medications or supplements you are taking during your appointment.

It has been rarely noticed the appearance of:

  • bleeding, scabs and bruises, which can be hidden by make-up.
  • Persistence of edema or redness, burning.
  • Hyper or hypo pigmentation of the skin
  • Local pain

There are other procedures to improve skin wrinkles, soft tissue depressions, skin elevation and pigmentation. The risks and potential complications are related to alternative methods of medical and surgical treatment. These processes are proposed according to the expectations and needs of each patient and the risks related to these procedures.

NB changes in the appearance of the face and eyelids may result from natural aging, loss or weight gain, unprotected exposure to UV light, pregnancy, menopause, or other circumstances that are not associated with MORPHEUS8 procedures.

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in case of:

  • Pregnancy and breast feeding
  • Pacemaker (cardiac pacemaker or internal defibrillator) or metal plates on the area to be treated
  • Electronic implant such as blood glucose monitor
  • History of cancer, especially precancerous skin or nevus
  • Inflammation or damage to the area to be treated (wounds, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, excessively or recently tanned skin
  • Impairment of the immune system by immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS or HIV, or use of immunosuppressive drugs
  • History of herpes simplex
  • Abnormal scarring or very dry and fragile skin
  • Poorly controlled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction.
  • History of invasive surgery less than 3 months old.
  • Use of isotretinoin (Accutane) within 6 months before treatment

IPL and radiofrequency

There are a number of risks as with any procedure, but these are limited. Even if very few patients experience complications, take advice from your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications.

Discuss with your doctor your specific options, needs and expectations, in order to understand the risks, possible complications and the limitations and results associated with IPL and RF treatments.

IPL:

  • Pigmentation treatment: the lesions will become darker for 1 to 2 weeks after the session, then will lighten. Localized inflammation around the lesions (edema and erythema) may appear, participating in the healing process.
  • Treatment of vascular lesions: the blood capillaries will coagulate and appear darker for 1 to 2 weeks before thinning. Localized inflammation around the lesions (edema and erythema) may appear, participating in the healing process.
  • Skin rejuvenation: tightening of the skin can occur immediately thanks to the production of new collagen fibers. The improvement in the appearance of the skin will be clearly visible after one to two months, for a long-lasting effect.

RF:

  • Edema and erythema (swelling and redness) are a normal reaction after treatment and may last 3 weeks. Tiny speckles appear for a few days and are part of the normal healing process. Make-up is possible 1 to 3 days after the session
  • Sensation of warmth.

Patients may experience a feeling of discomfort during treatment, alleviated by the use of a topical anesthetic.

We were able to note in a rare way the appearance:

  • Crust, blister, burn, but also hyper or hypo-pigmentation and appearance of scars are rarely observed damage.
  • Bruising caused by vacuum (fat treatment, BodyFX)

There are other procedures to improve the quality of the skin or pigmentation. The risks and potential complications are linked to alternative methods of medical and surgical treatment. These procedures are offered according to the expectations and needs of each patient and the risks associated with these procedures

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in the event of:

  • Pregnancy and breast feeding
  • Active electrical stimulators, pacemakers, automatic defibrillators
  • Inflammation of the skin, sunburn, sores, psoriasis, eczema, rashes
  • Permanent implants in the treated area, metal plates and screws, silicone implants.
  • In case of a history of herpes, a prophylactic treatment will be offered before treatment with IPL
  • Medication or ablative treatment during the last 6 months

Please inform and consult your doctor if you are in one of the following cases:

  • Heart disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Uncontrolled hypertension
  • Liver or kidney disease
  • Deficient immune system
  • Endocrine diseases
  • Skin cancer or other cancers
  • Pre-malignant moles
  • History of skin disease
  • Keloid or abnormal scarring

Mesotherapy and PRP

PRP comes directly from your body and has very few side effects. Used in mesotherapy, it can induce edema (swelling), erythema (redness), sensations of heat or tensions on the dermis surface. These effects result from the stimulation performed and are resorbed in a few days. There may also be marks of syringes or rashes similar to acne that also disappear in a few days. Acne-like rash Scratches Infections and Impetigo, surface bacterial infection of the skin, caused by streptococcus (Streptococcus pyogenes) and / or staphylococcus (Staphylococcus aureus).

Mesotherapy and PRP cause little discomfort and pain.

Very infrequently, edema with higher than normal inflammation may occur in patients with significant allergenic potential. Take advice from your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications.

Talk to your doctor about your specific options, needs and expectations. PRP injections do not stop the aging process, do not cause permanent tightening of the skin, and do not affect the appearance of wrinkles.

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in case of:

  • Cervical and facial cancer
  • Skin lesions caused that may be caused by abnormal cell proliferation (PRP)
  • Abnormal elevated healing or keloid formation
  • Pregnancy and breast feeding
  • Active inflammation or infection of the area to be treated
  • Blood Diseases and Platelet Defects (PRP)
  • Taking Warfarin (anticoagulant therapy)

Botox

There are a number of risks as after any procedure, but these are limited. Although very few patients experience complications, consult your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications.

Discuss specific options, needs, and expectations with your doctor to understand the risks, possible complications, and limitations and results of Botox injections.

Asymmetry: our face is naturally asymmetrical, with anatomy and structural functions specific to each. Since the response to Botox injections is different depending on the person, additional injections may be proposed to achieve the desired results. The phenomenon of ptosis or “drooping eyelid” is temporary and fades quickly. Migration can induce temporary paralysis of adjacent muscles. Bleeding and bruising, although very rare, may occur following Botox injection or local anesthetic, especially in the soft tissues. As a result of larger post-injection bleeding, emergency treatment or surgery may be required.

Aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, and other homeopathic or herbal treatments may increase the risk of bleeding. It is mandatory for you to tell your doctor about any medication or supplement you are taking at your appointment.

It was rare to note the appearance:

  • Dry eye problems (inform your doctor in case of potential dry eye)
  • Duplication of vision
  • Ectropion of the eyelid (abnormal detachment of the lower eyelid)
  • Functional and irritating diseases of the eye
  • Blindness
  • Anaphylaxis (allergic reactions)
  • Skin diseases (rash, itching, edema)
  • Neuromuscular diseases (patients with peripheral motor neuropathies, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and motor neuropathies are more likely to experience side effects)
  • Migraine

There are other procedures to improve skin wrinkles, soft tissue depressions, skin elevation and pigmentation. The risks and potential complications are related to alternative methods of medical and surgical treatment. These processes are proposed according to the expectations and needs of each patient and the risks related to these procedures.

NB changes in the appearance of the face and eyelids may result from natural aging, loss or weight gain, unprotected exposure to UV light, pregnancy, menopause, or other circumstances that are not associated with Botox injections procedures.

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in case of:

  1. Pregnancy and breast feeding
  2. Medical treatment.

You should tell your doctor about any medications that may interfere with neuromuscular transmission such as aminoglycoside antibiotics as they may increase the effects of Botox injections.

PDO THREADS

There are a number of risks as with any procedure, but these are limited. Even if very few patients experience complications, take advice from your doctor if you have allergies to certain substances or medications. Discuss with your doctor your specific options, needs and expectations, in order to understand the risks, possible complications and the limitations and results related to the use of PDO threads.

  • Bleeding and bruising, although very rare, may result from the use of PDO threads or local anesthetic, especially in soft tissue.
  • Edema (swelling)
  • Sensitivity
  • Numbness
  • Slight asymmetry
  • Infections

Patients may experience a feeling of tightness or tightness during treatment, which disappears over the weeks.

We were able to note in a rare way the appearance:

  • Granulomas: they can form if the threads are placed too superficially under the skin
  • Severe edema: if a blood vessel is affected, major edema may develop. This occurrence is very rare when the FTC PDO technique is used.
  • Protrusion: if the end of a wire is visible a few days after treatment, please contact us to resolve this.
  • Trauma to a facial nerve: this very rare side effect is often linked to the use of very fine needles.
  • Pronounced asymmetry: adjustments may be necessary, perfect symmetry does not exist in nature, we cannot guarantee it.

It is contraindicated to carry out this treatment in the event of:

  • History of severe allergic reactions.
  • Abnormal raised scars or keloids.
  • Active inflammation or infection of the treatment area
  • Pregnancy and breast feeding
  • At the time of treatment the glucose levels of people with insulin-dependent diabetes should be stabilized.
