The tensor thread technology (Silhouette Soft, Croma) is used to lift the face and body. These threads are made of a material called PDO (polydioxanone), which also consists of absorbable surgical suture threads.

There are different types:

• smooth single threads for tissue induction and collagen synthesis. These will be positioned as a mesh, to maintain and tighten the treated area.
• more sophisticated threads of variable shapes (spirals, notches, cones, etc.), which will adhere to the skin and allow the volumes of the face or body to be repositioned.

This technique is an actual medical facelift.

A sagging face will be plumped up, a relaxed neck will be redrawn, a wrinkled belly or arms will be lifted. Immediately after the treatment, you will be able to appreciate 20% of the result that will be complete after 1 to 3 months. Indeed, these wires are absorbable and don’t remain permanently in the insertion area. They dissolve in the following months and thus induce a strong synthesis of collagen in this same area. Your natural collagen will then replace the wires. The skin thus retains this completely authentic lifted appearance. For a lasting result, up to several years.
