How to remove stretch marks?
Those cracks, like subcutaneous crevices, are called stretch marks. Recently, a solution was developed in our clinic to effectively erase these marks previously deemed ineffaceable. The doctor uses several techniques of tissue induction inside the crack, as if filling it with skin.
The use of fractional Radiofrequency via micro-needle is judicious in the treatment of stretch marks.
This gentle technique involves heating the skin evenly and thoroughly, up to 43 ° C. This rise in temperature gradually induces tissue retraction, and tissue production of collagen and elastin which will fill, smooth and soften stretch marks.
Behind this gourmet name, Coating is an innovative technique specific to our clinic. It consists in injecting under the skin a preparation of youth consisting of PRP, collagen inducers and hyaluronic acid (Profhilo, Revive skin booster). It’s about stimulating skin inside each break.
PRP from the plasma in your blood is a liquid rich in platelets and natural growth factors. Its action? To stimulate fibroblasts producing collagen and elastin and activate tissue vascularization, promoting the supply of nutrients and stem cells so that the skin can regenerate.
Collagen inducers are fully absorbable molecules, most often Calcium or PCL, which will stimulate fibroblasts, actual manufacturers of collagen and elastin. The result is a mesh that will naturally redensify, firm and smooth the skin.
Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible, hydrating, and fully absorbable gel. This natural treatment is used to fill deep and superficial wrinkles, but also to structure or lift the volumes of the cheekbones, chin, forehead, lips, hands or rework the bridge of a nose.
Tensor thread technology (Silhouette Soft, Croma) is used to lift the face and body. These threads are made of a material called PDO (polydioxanone), which also consists of absorbable surgical suture threads.
There are different types:
Once positioned under the skin where the cutaneous break of the stretch mark is, the threads dissolve in the following months and by doing so initiate a high collagen synthesis in the treated zone. Your natural collagen will then replace the threads. The stretch mark will then be filled with lasting collagen, making the break disappear. The result can last up to several years.
Micro-needling, also known as Mesolift will allow to treat aggressively the zones lacking collagen to stimulate its production thanks to a multitude of painless micro-aggressions. After a few sessions, the skin is plumped up at its breaking point, and the stretch mark fades away.
The optimal results, especially when threads are used, take time to show. They start appearing around 3 months after the treatment et continue evolving up to a year afterwards… Patience is a virtue.
A Stretch Mark Eraser session lasts an average of 45 minutes.
The price of a Stretch Mark Eraser session starts at £1,000 and varies according to the extent of the area to be treated.
